Femto Forum Announces Femtocell Industry Awards 2009 Finalists

Winners to be announced at Femtocells World Summit in LondonLondon, UK ? 18th May 2009 ? The Femto Forum, the independent industry association that supports femtocell deployment worldwide, today announced the finalists for the inaugural Femtocell Industry Awards. The awards recognise outstanding achievement within, and contributions to, the femtocell industry. The winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner on 24th June 2009 at Femtocells World Summit in London.

The awards were open to the whole industry and are judged independently of the Femto Forum by a panel of distinguished analysts, journalists and industry experts, chaired by Professor William Webb, Head of R&D at Ofcom. The awards attracted more than 70 entries from companies around the world and across the mobile value chain.
