How to Easily Start Blogging For Your Business | Internet Marketing ...
As many a marketing guru will tell you, in today?s world of online marketing, your website needs to be a hub of interaction.
Basically, you need a blog.
A place where you not only share that you?re the bloody best in your industry, but where visitors can learn it for themselves, BS with you, share their insight and pick up a few tips from YOU too!
WAIT! We?re talking about a blog for a business, right? Why would you want to build a spot on your company website to basically socialize? Well, it?s not just socializing, my friend, it?s networking too and it doesn?t all have to be done on Facebook or Twitter.
I?ll tell you now, your first few posts are going to be pretty damn hard.
Not because they need to be perfect ? because really they don?t.
Being human is more important when it comes to blogging.?
No, those first few posts are going to be difficult because you feel you have no audience.
As I write this post, my 2nd post on this website, I have no audience.
No visitors, no readers, not even my mother.
But I?ll still write this post.
Why?
Because I know who you are.
I know that you?re an entrepreneur.
I know you have a business site.
I know you?re looking for a way to market your business online to:
- gain brand recognition
- generate traffic and rank better in search results
- let potential customers know that you know your stuff
- build trust with potential customers by making yourself visible and available
- generate leads and make money.
And by the way, #s 1 to 5 are ALL the reasons to start a business blog. Just blogging for one of them, is not enough to grow your business.
I know you find this ?blogging thing? daunting.
And I know if you?ve come across this post via searching the internet, you?re looking for answers.
See? I know you.
How? You?re MY market.
You?re the guy/gal, who just like me, is an entrepreneur and wants to sell your expertise online.
So I?m writing this post for YOU.
You?re my audience.
Seriously. If you?re at the point where you?ve learned that you must start a blog, then I believe it?s safe to assume you know who your market is.
And by knowing your market, you know your audience.
Sure, a Pro Blogger may happen across this post one day and this post won?t teach her anything new, but that?s just fine with me.
Ya? know why?
Cause I?m not writing it for her, I?m writing it for YOU.
So I don?t need to please all the people all the time and write really general posts.
What I need to do, is focus on YOU and what your needs are.
And since I know my market, I know what your needs ARE.
So every post I write is going to be about something I know you need as an entrepreneur who?s marketing his/her service online.
So here?s the takeaway?
Know your Market.
Focus on your Market.
Share info your Market can Benefit from.
Bonus
Add pictures to break up text and keep your reader from losing interest.
